Matt Francis was born on January 28, 1987, in Fort Worth, Texas. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on June 13, 2011, and completed basic training at Lackland AFB, Texas, on August 12, 2011. After attending Operations Intelligence training at Goodfellow AFB, Texas, from August 2011 to March 2012, he completed Supply and Fuels Specialist training at Lackland AFB in July 2012. Sgt Francis served with the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Eglin AFB, Florida, from July 2012 to August 2021, and has served at Lackland AFB, Texas, since September 2021. Matt is married to the former Lauren Quinby of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
